Paper Design is geared towards designers who are interested in taking their design skills to the next level!  In this course, we work through an entire collection of papers and learn how to produce a sticker sheet with diecuts. Everything is designed print-production-ready to make you a savvier designer.

This is a three-week course that includes technical, practical, and theoretical video lessons and notes. This class differs from Art of Digital Design 2/Digital Design in that different techniques are shown for building texture and patterns. Both classes are useful for the technically savvy designer. In Paper Design, all the patterns are built in Illustrator. Techniques for building textures are shown in Photoshop and Illustrator (different than those shown in Art of Digital Design 2/Digital Design). This is a stand-alone course to help you better understand the paper and print industry. By the end of this course, you will have designed a collection of papers and a sticker sheet all ready for print production. The combination of Digital Design Class and Paper Design Class will help you build confidence in your artwork and what is needed to design for the digital scrapbooking and paper industries.

For students who have taken Art of Digita Design 2 or Digital Design, here are the differences in the courses:
